Anonymous Grant Helps Museum Expand Tech
The Red River Valley Museum has recently received a large grant from an anonymous donor! This grant is intended to be used to upgrade our current office tech as well as give us new tools to make the museum function smoother than ever before.

The Red River Valley Museum is a non-profit organization. We are funded primarily through admission fees and donations. In 2017 we established the Friends of the Museum to help us gain more funding and to create new ways for community members to be involved.

RRVM Receives Humanities Texas Relief Grant
This summer, Humanities Texas awarded over $1.1 million to 198 Texas nonprofits that suffered losses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recipients include museums, libraries, preservation organizations and heritage and cultural centers, among many others.

Limiting the number of visitors in our exhibits
Requiring that groups be no larger than 6 people
Disinfecting high touch surfaces such as door handles and interactive exhibits
Providing masks and hand sanitizer
