Become a Friend of the Museum Today!

The Red River Valley Museum is a non-profit organization. We are funded primarily through admission fees and donations. In 2017 we established the Friends of the Museum to help us gain more funding and to create new ways for community members to be involved.

Our mission at the Red River Valley Museum is to preserve, protect, and present the history entrusted to us in an interesting and and entertaining manner. We strive to make the museum a place where locals and travelers alike can marvel at Texas history and the natural sciences. The past few years we have been undergoing major renovations to bring more excitement to our exhibits with interactive features, engaging text and video, and new artifact displays. We are currently in the second phase of remodeling. Soon enough we’ll be moving forward to the third and final section of the museum! Help us keep the momentum going!
