138 years ago today Mrs. Electra Waggoner Wharton was born in Decatur, Texas. As the only daughter of Dan Waggoner she enjoyed a life full of extravagance! Electra traveled the globe, lived in luxurious mansions, and shopped in the finest of stores. One story claims she came home from Europe with a beautiful butterfly tattoo on her leg! Electra, like her niece who would be named after her, was a woman who took the world into her hands and made it her own. Today we remember and celebrate her!
