Vernon Elementary School GT Art Showcase

On April 11th, the Red River Valley Museum proudly hosted a one-night-only GT Art Showcase in partnership with Vernon Elementary School. The event featured artwork from 40 talented 3rd through 5th grade students, all part of the school’s Gifted and Talented program.

Throughout the spring semester, these young artists explored the world of visual art by researching different artists and styles. Their studies culminated in original pieces inspired by what they learned - each one a vibrant reflection of their creativity and hard work.

It was an honor to provide a space where families and the community could come together to celebrate the students’ achievements. We’re proud to support and showcase the next generation of artists in Texoma!
